Assignment for external and corporate communications at De Zwarte Hond architecture and urbanism (Rotterdam, Groningen, Cologne offices). Includes PR and (social) media strategy, content planning & creation, advice on branding, identity and internationalisation strategy.

Kunsthal | marketing & communications

Marketing & communication support for the All you can Art 3 project at Kunsthal Rotterdam (March – August 2018). The assignment consisted of drawing up a communication plan, copywriting, developing communication tools, mailings (newsletters, invitations), social media, press & PR.

State of Fashion | online communications

Online communications assignment (website, social media, content planning) for the new fashion event State of Fashion | Searching for the New Luxury, curated by Jose Teunissen. Focusing on a more sustainable and fair fashion industry, the project is the successor to the Arnhem Fashion Biennale.

Assignment for International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam. PR campaign for IABR editions 2012, 2016 and 2018 focusing on media and free publicity – compiling press plan and strategy, press releases, organising press events, arranging interviews, copy writing and proofing of publications, crossmedia advertising campaigns.

De Doelen is a concert venue and convention centre in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The assignment consisted of handling pr and media campaign for several key projects and festivals (The Big Day, Kindermuziekweek, Wunderhorn, Classical:NEXT, Operadagen Rotterdam).

Studio Roosegaarde | PR Icoon Afsluitdijk

Strategic PR plan for Studio Roosegaarde’s project Icoon Afsluitdijk (Jun – Se9 2016). Assignment included outreach to national key media with pitches, planning, press releases and media monitoring. Compiling media kit for press preview and opening event. Collaboration with Studio Roosegaarde, Rijkswaterstaat and I&M in team BRAND The Urban Agency.

IFFR | Press & international PR

Freelance and seasonal assignment for International Film Festival Rotterdam, Marketing & Communications department. Establishing the festival’s press strategy. Maintaining (international) media relations, liaising with distributors, producers & sales agents, pitching coverage, writing press releases. Organising events and marketing actions with (online) media, monitoring impact. Coordinating IFFR Trainee Programme for Young Film Critics and FIPRESCI/KNF juries with a team of assistants and volunteers. 2005 – 2007 responsible for all press accreditations and running the festival Press Office & Press Desk. Managing a team of 7 publicists and 1 intern, overall responsible for scheduling all interviews.

Freelance assignment for external PR & communication for Droog design products, projects and events. Social media, online marketing, media strategy for brand awareness and positioning, copywriting, media relations and monitoring. Development and implementation of communication tools. Campaigns include Rijksstudio m2 with Rijksmuseum at Salone del Mobile Milan 2014.
